It's your own fault you can't find a job.
WAYS YOU CAN FIND A JOB:
1️⃣ Apply to 10+ roles every day.
Find relevant openings, submit applications, and track everything: the company, position, date, and next step. I spend extra time tailoring my application for roles that closely match my experience. The spreadsheet helps me stay organized when the applications start blending together.
2️⃣ Practice 3–5 coding problems every day.
Not just to get “Accepted,” but to understand why the solution works.
Can I explain the approach out loud? Walk through the edge cases? Write it again without looking at the solution?
Some problems still take me much longer than I’d like. That’s exactly why I keep practicing.
3️⃣ Write one LinkedIn post every day.
Share something I learned, something I built, or an honest part of the job search.
I don’t want my profile to be only a résumé and an “Open to Work” banner. I want people to see how I think, what I care about, and what I’m working on.
You don’t need an offer announcement to have something worth sharing.
4️⃣ Attend career fairs and events like Grace Hopper.
Prepare an introduction. Research the companies. Have real conversations. Follow up afterward.
I attended GHC in 2023 and 2025. In 2025, I got interviews with Bloomberg, DoorDash, and Cloudflare. Those experiences are why meeting people is part of my search—not just submitting applications online.
None of this guarantees an offer. And a quiet inbox doesn’t mean someone isn’t working hard enough.
